Rejoice! We have a staticky new Detective Pikachu trailer, and this one begins in time-honored noir fashion with a world weary voiceover from an amnesiac detective. The twist being, of course, that the world-weary detective is PIKACHU.
This movie looks incredible.
Ryan Reynolds is perfect, and Justice Smith is perfect, and Mewtwo shows up, and they’re riffing on Short Circuit, and there’s a Snorlax, and did they just blow up the Macy’s Parade?
Why isn’t this in theaters yet???
Oh yeah, because it comes out May 10th.
